The Magic Doors

This was a residential project I completed in 2021, after the pandemic, and attempts to create the illusion of stained glass. When the light shines through the doors, the colors of all the shapes shine through in a regal way. I was inspired by the stained glass found in churches, and also was toying with how seemingly random shapes can work together in tandem in a powerful way when they are brought together on a large scale and are brought to life even further by natural light. Even simplistic works can bring power and intensity into a space, and can even work to a space's benefit if any other additions are wanted in the future.
